Governors Run Golf Club, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Lamar, South Carolina

Designed by Jay Huggins, the Governor's Run golf course opened in 1971. The back nine holes were added in the fall, 1995.

Though most of the fairways are reasonably wide, a few, such as the dogleg par-4 sixth, require precise tee shots to stay in play. Best Hole: No. 5, a 175-yard par-3 guarded by water on the left side, a front bunkers and a densely wooded hazard on the right, making accuracy a must.

The course plays to a par of 72. The back tees measure 6,919 yards. Rating is 72.2 and Slope is 130.
